Photo TECHNICA was established almost five decades ago on 04th of February 1958.

It was a humble beginning of a talented engineer Late Founder Mr. Fred R. Malvenna, who took up to photography and eventually become a highly trained camera technician and entrepreneur in the field of photo equipment market in Sri lanka.

Today Photo Technica has grown to become the only exclusive camera shop chain in Sri Lanka. The Head office and Digital Centre is in the centre of Colombo's business hub and shopping district and it provides Digital and Film Camera sales, Digital Photo Printing Service under one roof.

It's service department centre also in the same premises has eight factory trained technicians who are foreign trained to carry out repair services to all types of cameras and photographic equipment to international standards.

Digital camera sales and services are also done through 8 branches in colombo including shops in three departmental stores and two duty free shops in arrival and departure complexes at the Colombo International Airport.
